Giving Back: Roger Federer visits Ethiopia

I strongly appreciate when people in power or with money who have achieved something in their lives, still find time to get involved in humanitarian work.  So, we try to cover their efforts as much as possible on this site. This time the kudos go to Roger Federer, who recently visited Ethiopia and posted some photos on his Facebook page.

Roger Federer: “I am on my way to visit one of the projects that I support in Ethiopia. But before I left home yesterday, the Austrian Postal Service presented me with a stamp. It was a nice honor.”

I have no words to express my feeling to this man. It is relly nice to see the worlds number one ground tennis player in a small village in Ethiopia(Kore Roba). I appreciate his visit and humaniterian action to the villagers. May my grateful thanks goes to him.

The moment Roger initiated “Hit for Haiti” I knew the Aussie Open is his. If you do good, good things happen to you in return. A champion off the court and on the court.

Now he is in Ethiopia. It’s amazing how he takes the time out to do all these things. Helped the Tsunami victims, helped the Haiti victims and now helping people in South Africa.

    Go Roger!
